Anthony Lester Parker Jr., 53, passed away Dec. 6, 2007. He was the loving son of the late Anthony and Olivia Parker. He leaves behind to cherish his memory three wonderful children, Specialist Anthony L. Parker III of Fort Bragg, N.C., Alisha and Gerard Abbott, both of Chesapeake. Tony was the cherished brother of Vanessa Parker (the late James R. Collins) of Fayetteville, N.C., Yvonda Parker of Chesapeake, Jeralyn Parker Phillips of Virginia Beach and Angel Parker-Johnson (Willie E., Sr.) of Norfolk; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Metropolitan Funeral Service, 7246 Granby St. Interment will be at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk.
