Blanche Augusta Fitzgerald
A private service was held for Blanche Augusta Fitzgerald of Lincoln City, who died July 23, 1998, at age 101.
Mrs. Fitgerald was born June 28, 1897, in Grove Lake, Minn., and was raised in Oregon and Washington. She trained as a licensed practical nurse in Klamath Falls, and worked in Emanuel Hospital in Portland from 1953 to 1962. She also lived in Vancouver, Wash., and Eugene before moving to Lincoln City.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary B. Phillips of Depoe Bay and Peggy Foster of Lincoln City; sisters, Queda Bahnsen and Frances McCoy, both of Portland; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Her sons, Vivian Hoffman and Dale Hoffman, died earlier.
Interment is in Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Forest Grove. Arrangements were by Forest Grove Memorial Chapel.
