Born in Laurens County, she was the daughter of the late David and Nanette Madden Young.
Survivors: husband, John Herman Durham; daughters, Fredonia Fuller of Gaffney, Sallie Ann Durham and Catherine Collier, both of Greenville; sons, Arthur Lewis, John Henry, James Luther and Joe Jessie Durham, all of Greenville; 32 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service: Thursday at 3 p.m. at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
