He and his family moved to Moreland, ID, at an early age, where he was raised and educated, graduating from Moreland High School. He married Ruth Parker on Dec. 19, 1941, at Logan, UT. He served in the US Army during WW2, in the Philliipines, and occupied Japan.
In 1965, they moved to Leslie, ID, and later to the Pahsimeroi Valley in 1978. He was a prominent rancher his entire life, and was well known among cattlemen thru-out the U.S.
Ruth and he had two sons, Parker, and Cody, and two daughters, Brenda and Kathy.
