Margaret M. Baldwin of Mount Holly died Wednesday, June 27th at her residence. She was 86.
A resident of Mount Holly since 1951, she was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church until her death. She was also a member of the Women's League of Mount Holly where she served as treasurer. Helping others was second nature to Maggie. She was an active volunteer with Meals on Wheels and the St. Vincent DePaul Society, where she helped at the food pantry. Maggie also spent many hours patterning a severely injured member of the church.
Maggie loved bridge and spent many hours playing cards with her husband and longtime friends. She was an avid swimmer, an activity which began in her early years as a competitive ocean swimmer in Long Branch, NJ.
Although volunteering, bridge, and swimming were important to Maggie, her first love was her children, to who m she showed unconditional devotion, support, and generosity. She will be missed by all who knew her, none more than her children.
