This is my mother. Helen was a very kind woman. She was the mother of 5 children who love her very much. Everyone loved her who knew her. She died at a young age and will never be forgotten by her family or friends. Helen was a lifelong smoker and developed Emphysema in her late 30s. She died from Congestive Heart Failure at the age of 56 peacefully at home in her bed. This is the way she wanted to go and she got her wish. She left this earth on a lovely Sunday morning and I think that was a sign from God. Helen was very religious and was a faithful attender of Sunday Mass. This was her day of worship and for her to pass away on this day in particular was just her way of letting her loved ones know that she's with her God in heaven now. She would do anything for anyone and was the sweetest woman I've ever known. She was also my best friend & I miss her very much. The last time I spoke to her, we were planning her funeral. She knew she was dying & it was so hard for me to even think about her not being in my life anymore. I was just a young girl when she died & I had to plan her funeral & make the arrangements by myself. I followed her instructions to the letter because I wanted her to have her last wishes. I'm also the person who found her in her bed the morning she died. Very, very tough thing to go through. I'll never forget her. The loss of my mother has left a void in my life & is a deep hurt that will never go away.
