Frank is my Grandpa.

The third of seven children born to John Patterson & Martha Jane (Callahan) Mosier, Frank married Elsie Jane Kennedy on 12 Jan 1901 in Brown Co IN, the daughter of James Weddle & Sarah Jane (Snyder) Kennedy of Nashvile, Brown Co IN.

(Note: This is Doris Thelma Mosier, who sadly died at six months of age, 10 Apr 1902.)

1920 Census Indpls, Marion Co IN, Jan 11:
-John, 40, owns home, can read & write, born IN, parents born IN, works in a meat market.
-Elsie J, 37, can read & write, born IN, parents born IN, no occupation listed.
-Raymond E, 16, can read & write, born IN, (occupation is hard to read, but looks like he) works in a 'store', probably his Dad's meat market.
Alton, 13, can read & write, born IN, goes to school.

Grandpa registered for the WWI Draft in 1917, but there is no record he served. On his registration, he listed his birth year as 1879, in his own handwriting. Grandpa owned and operated a meat market.

My Dad never knew his father since Grandpa passed away just two weeks after my Dad was born. Grandpa was laid to rest on 22 Oct 1926.

Note:
Grandpa was aged only 47 years when he died. Death certificate has year of birth as 1876, but when Grandpa completed his WWI Draft registration, he wrote 1879 as his birth year, which also concurs with census records.
