Chester Wife Claimed At 76
Mrs. Pearl Allison Abrams, 530 Louisiana Ave., Chester, died Sunday at 9 p.m. at Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, where she had been a patient for two weeks. She was 76 and was born near Hookstown April 29, 1887. Besides her husband, R. B. Abrams, she leaves four daughter, Miss Leona Abrams, Miss Alberta Abrams and Miss Eunice Abrams, all at home, and Mrs. Dennis Smith of Cincinnati; two sons, Robert B. Abrams Jr. of Richland, Wash., and John Abrams of Chester; four sisters, Mrs. Ellen Bartley of Chester, Mrs. Jennie Mackall and Mrs. Maude Allison, both of East Liverpool, and Mrs. Esther Shaffer of New Brighton; two brothers, Thompson Allison of East Liverpool and Clayton Allison of Gary, Ind., and 12 grandchildren. A son, Thomas died in 1953. Services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. from the family home by the Rev. William L. Claghorn, pastor of the Westminster United Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Hookstown. Friends may call at the family home. The Welch Funeral
