Passed away on November 30, 2007 after a long battle with cancer. Dr. Peller was born May 8, 1930 in Albany, New York to Pincus and Tillie Peller. He attended RPI in Troy, New York for two years, and enlisted in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He resumed his education at New York University, Washington Square College earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1956. Dr. Peller earned his Medical Degree from NYU School of Medicine in 1960, and completed a seven year Residency at the University of Michigan in General, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery. He practiced medicine in Canton, Ohio from 1967 till 1993, and retired to Ann Arbor Michigan. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Sherri Getz Peller, sons Howard Peller of Roseville, Ohio and Paul Peller of Melville, NY. Adored by five grandchildren, Asa, Eli, Henry, Evan and Lauren Peller. Cherished brother of Esther Finkelstein of Albany, New York.
