Graveside services for Virginia Quick, 89, a lifelong resident of the Elmwood Community, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Olive Branch Cemetery with Kevin Willmott officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
Miss Quick died Sunday morning, December 2, 2007, in a local nursing home.
She was born May 8, 1918 in Palestine to John Lewis Quick and Pearl Chandler Quick.
She was a self-employed farmer.
Miss Quick was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Mabel Kent, Laura Bell Hanson, and Patsy Ann Quick; five brothers, John Quick, Chester Quick, Benjamin Quick, Keith Quick, and Ike Quick.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
