Tammy L. Foster, 37, of Wheatfield Township, Perry County, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2007 in the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
She was born on September 30, 1970 in Harrisburg, PA to Paul E. and Debra (Sterner) Foster of Duncannon.
She was a graduate of Susquenita High School Class of 1988 and a graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College. She was a billing clerk for Gannett Fleming, Inc. of Camp Hill.
Tammy enjoyed spending time by the pool, camping, the outdoors; she loved to take pictures and was a sports fan. She especially loved spending time with her nieces and nephews, family, and close friends.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband Barry B. Foster, Jr., 2 sisters, Tina L. Shaffer and her husband Rob of Duncannon, Angela Erhardt and her husband Robbie of Hanover, Maryland; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Barry B., Sr. and Barbara A. Foster of Duncannon; 13 nieces and nephews, Jeanette DeJordy, Nicholas DeJordy, Alyssa Shaffer, Abbey Shaffer, Breck Shaffer, Jacob Martin, Jackson Martin, Matthew Foster, Joshua Foster, Lea Foster, Nate Foster, Tyler Shott and Rachael Shott. She is also survived by her dog Mia and her cat Pepper.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. (Noon) on Friday, December 7, 2007 in Otterbein United Methodist Church, 327 Newport Road (Route 849) Duncannon, PA 17020. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Duncannon. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2007 in the Ronald C.L. Smith Funeral Home, 325 N. High St., Duncannon and from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. (Noon) on Friday, December 7, 2007 in the church.
In her passing Tammy was a Gift of Life organ donor.
