Funeral services for Mrs. Ona Ethel Morris, 72, who died Wednesday evening, November 13, in a local hospital, were held November 15 at 2 pm in the First Baptist Church with Rev. James E. Birkhead officiating. She resided at Sixth and Dyer Streets.
She was born at Gassville on July 6, 1885, and was the daughter of the late Miles Anglin and Mrs. Martha Durham Anglin, natives of Georgia.
Her husband, Noel Morris preceded her in death.
Survivors include three sons, Clifton Morris of Mountain Home, Fred Morris of Mountain Grove, Mo., and Leo M. of Harrison; two daughters, Mrs. Odus Hargrave and Mrs. Jim Fouts, both of Mountain Home; 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Fred E. Lederer, Isaac W. Thomas, Ed Pinkston, Garvin Carroll, Everett Wheeler, and Harlin Perry.
Interment was in the Whiteville Cemetery. Roller Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
