Surviving children are: Kathleen FitzGerald Riley, Maureen FitzGerald Nelson, Ann FitzGerald Pulcher & Michael John Fitzgerald. In his early work, he was employed by the fire dept. He worked many years after that for the U S Postal Service as a rural carrier but continued to act as a volunteer firefighter. He enjoyed going fishing and to the horse races. He was talented with home repairs and maintenance.
