MANCHESTER-Christopher N. (Chris) Clemen, 78, of rural Manchester, died early Saturday at his home after a long illness. Services at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Shelly Funeral Home. Burial in the Thorpe Union Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Sunday. Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Donald Spitler of Waterloo and Mrs. Russell Reed of Stockton, Calif.; two sons, Earl of Rantoul, Ill., and Roger of Dubuque; three brothers, Ray of Phoenix, Ariz., and Clarence and Louis, both of Holy Cross; three sisters, Mrs. Kenneth Casteel of Sheridan, Wyo., Mrs. John Rolwes of Cascade, and Mrs. Joseph France of Dubuque.
