OBITUARY
Andrew A. Balog Jr., 76, of Fords died yesterday at home.
A Mass will be offered at 9 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords, following the funeral from the Flynn & Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords.

Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Hopelawn.
Mr. Balog was a parts manager with Rossmeyer Brothers in Metuchen for more than 30 years before retiring in 1988.
He served on the executive boards of the Fords-Clara Barton baseball and basketball leagues and was a founder of the Fords-Clara Barton bowling league.

Mr. Balog served in the Marines during World War II.
Born in Perth Amboy, he lived in Fords for the past 50 years.

Surviving are two sons, Devin and Drew; a sister, Mrs. Anne Sabine, and three grandchildren.
