I was very young but I remember going to her funeral and thought it sad for her funeral to be on Christmas Eve.

Mrs. Smith
Funeral rites for Mrs. Lizzie Smith, 93, of Rt 1, Calhoun, were held at 3 p.m. today in the Indian Village Methodist Church with the Rev. W. G. Stegall officiating, assisted by the Rev. R. E. Carter.
Burial under the direction of Kilpatrick’s Funeral Home of West Monroe, was to he in the Indian Village cemetery.
Mrs Smith died Wednesday in the Glenwood Hospital after a long illness.
She was a native of Webb City, Ark.
Pallbearers were to be Ray Smith, Raleigh Smith, Clinton Smith. Aubrey Gaston, Princeton Smith. Howard Smith, Claude Smith and Johnny Hill.
