Samuel married on AUGUST 4, 1859, in St. John, (Carleton), NB, Canada - by E. Botterell, Minister.
witnesses: John Colwell and Mary Lane.

According to Cedar Hill Cemetery epitaphs, Samuel was an Admitted Freeman, City of Saint John on
November 28, 1854, fisherman.

Samuel and Augusta had
4 children:
Sarah Theall Canning,
Levi Theall,
Ira Theall,
and
Harry (my great-grandfather)
