Services were held in Los Angeles,California December 8. The body,accompanied by the wife,was brought to Washington where funeral services were held at the Hill-George Funeral home on Sunday,December 12 by Rev. M. H. Bisbee. Burial was in the cemetery at Garrison,Kansas.
His father passed away when he was but two months old. The family came to Kansas when he was six months old and settled south of Barnes on Coon Creek.
He was married November 1904 to Mabel Schrek. To this union was born six children,all of whom are living. Ralph, Melvin and Zola of California,Zella of Olsburg,Kans., Nevin and Lyle of Clay Center,Kans. His wife passed away September 13,1921. On March 30,1925, he was married to Ellen Blomdahl. To this union was born three children, Stella,Goldie and Gerald.
Mr. Barckley leaves to mourn for him his wife,his nine children,one sister,Ethel Barckley of Washington,one brother,A.E. Barckley of Page,N. Dakota and many friends.
