He was BORN 12/27/1893 in Granger to the Rev. George William and Nancy R. Troxell Robbins, who were early preachers in the Central Texas area. He was a farmer and rancher in the Val Verde Community until his retirement. He was an ordained deacon of a Baptist church since 1944 and Sunday School teacher for 30 years. Member of Canyon Creek Baptist Church of Temple. Married Echo Atkins and then to Alpha Baird in 1964. They lived in Temple since 1973.
