Howard Franklin Webster, 86, of the 1500 block of Mill Dam Road, passed away after a long illness Nov. 1, 2007. Howard was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Weist Webster. He worked for Yellow Trucking for many years and for the City of Chesapeake until his retirement moving then to Virginia Beach. Howard leaves behind his loving companion, Elaine Sweeney; two sisters, Dorothy Harris of Norfolk and Mildred Nelson of North Carolina; brother, James Webster of Chesapeake; and many friends, nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Rosewood Memorial Park. Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
