*Martha Adams King b 10/2/1887, England, is listed as a daughter in the 1900 Methuen, MA Census. Since Samuel and Mary (Jackson) Adams married in 1890 in Lawrence, Mass, this may not be THEIR daughter. Martha may be Samuel's sister, since Samuel's parents were also named Samuel and Mary. To further compound the confusion, Samuel's mother, Mary, was also the daughter of a Samuel Adams. She died in 1894, so Martha was of course raised as a daughter in Samuel and Mary (Jackson) Adams' household.
