Crane was murdered in 1978. Of Swedish decent, she was born Patricia Olson in Bakersfield, California. She grew up in southern California and graduated from Marymount High School. After high school, she moved to Europe and later New York and worked as a model. She made her film debut in the 1962 film "Two Tickets to Paris." She appeared in several films including: "Marriage on the Rocks," in 1965, co-starring Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, and "Our Man Flint" in 1966. She joined "Hogan's Heroes" in 1965 and remained on the show five years. In 1971, she retired from acting only to return in 1998 in the Seattle-based radio program "Shaken, Not Stirred." She died on October 14, 2007, of lung cancer at age 72.
