She was born October 26, 1896, the daughter of Elmer and Stella Shoup Staley. She married Lynn Pearce Sept. 19, 1915 at Harmony Methodist Church in rural Flora. He preceded her in death. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Harmony Methodist Church, Rebekah Lodge in Clay City, Past Noble Grands, Clay County Hospital Auxiliary, Farm Bureau Extension, and American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving is a son, Trevor Pearce; two daughters, Gennell Doris and Juanita Crackel; a sister, Ella Ballinger; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two daughters, and two brothers.
Funeral services were held at Hosselton, Bookhout, Engelmeier Funeral Home with burial in Floral Garden of Memories in Flora.
