Peter came to the U.S. with his wife Mary Riehl-Dermer and his children Lydia, Christina, Molly, Pauline, Jake and Emma. They were Volga German's from Russia in the Straub region. Peter and Mary arrived in 1923 via the SS Orduna, which landed in Mexico and came into the U.S. from Nogales, AZ. They resided in Fresno, CA from 1928 until their deaths.
