Pearlie M. Alexander of Amarillo died Sunday, May 9, 2004, in Long Beach, Calif.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Llano Cemetery with the Rev. V.P. Perry officiating. Arrangements are by Warford-Walker Mortuary, 509 N. Hughes St.

At the time of her death, Ms. Alexander was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Long Beach. She retired from Chesapeake and Potamac Telephone Co.

Survivors include her mother, Maxine Bush; two daughters, C. Renee Alexander and Cheryl Denise Alexander; two grandchildren, Danialle Jini McDuffie and Bryce Jarrod Franklin Alexander, both of California; a sister, Francine Prather of Washington, D.C.; a brother, Donald F. Bush of Houston; a niece, Janeen Johnson of Houston; and three nephews, Gregory, Jeffrey and Ricky Jackson, all of Washington, D.C.
