A native of Macon County, she had lived in Cherokee County most of her life. She was a daughter of the late Elisha and Basha Stephens Kilpatrick.
Surviving are her husband, Clarence Hogan; two sons, Steven Hogan of Kernersville and Donald Hogan of Andrews; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a. m. Wednesday in Valleytown Baptist Church where she was a charter member. The Revs. Ron McClure and Garland Hogan will officiate. Burial will be in Valleytown Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p. m. Tuesday at Ivie Funeral Home, Andrews, where the body will remain until 30 minutes before the services.
Memorials may be made to the Valleytown Baptist Church Building Fund, c/o Ella Mae Mathis, 240 Robinson Road, Andrews, NC 28901.
