Arnie J. Allen was born in Iowa, in January of 1882. Before the war he was a messenger. He had blue eyes, brown hair, had ruddy skin, and was 5’7 ¼ tall. His father was J. H. Allen. After the war he lived in North Topeka. Allen died at the age of 22, from a street car accident that caused bruising, which then led to blood poisoning. He is currently buried in Rochester Cemetery, Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas.
