Thomas Dean 'Tinker' Allen was born April 19, 1937 in Fairfax, Oklahoma to Effie (Irons) and Doyle Allen. Tinker was raised in Dibble and Blanchard and served in the Air Force from September 9, 1954 to June 30, 1975. He fought for his country in the Vietnam War. His career was in fire and safety protection throughout the world and included locations such as Will Rogers Airport, Alaska, Rogers County, United Emirates, Turkey and he retired from Seavin in Egypt. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, debating and was very proud of his Native American ancestry. Tom passed away November 1, 2007 at 70 years of age. Survivors include his wife, Melda Foda, & son, Hazem Abdalla of the home; stepsons, Faisal & Marwan Kamel of Egypt; former wife, Rita Allen of Moore; son & wife, Mike & Paula Allen of Moore; daughters & husbands, Cheryl & Ken Pontius, Denise & Kevin Gibson, Debbie & Rick Walters, all of Moore, Dawn & Dale Walker of OKC; 11 grandchildren, Marcus, Thomas, Joseph, Katie, Sarah, Sean, Mikaylee, Nada, Hana, Hassan, & Fahd; brother & wife, Ned & Anna Allen of TX; sister, Delores 'Pug' Burris of OKC; other relatives and friends. Tom was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Estle Allen. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, November 5, 2007, at Eisenhour Chapel in Blanchard, OK. Reverend Lewis Cox will officiate with interment held in the Dibble Cemetery. Arrangements made by Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard, OK.
