Wake services for Edward Dean Curtis will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at at Concho Community Center. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Concho Community Center with Rev. Paul Beartrack officiating. Burial will be in the Concho Cemetery under direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
Mr. Curtis died Nov. 1, 2007, at the Care Center of El Reno. He was born May 4,1956, in Wichita, Ran. He
moved to El Reno in October 2006. He was an Army veteran and was a retired automobile mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard "Hoot" Curtis Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Nance Curtis of Prescott, Ariz.; his mother, Jennie Spottedhorse Birdshead Curtis of El Reno; a son,
Richard Dean Curtis of Enid; daughters, Rachel Curtis of Watonga and April Curtis of El Reno; brother, Tony Hummingbird of El Reno; sisters, Joni Curtis and Gina Cheromiah, both of El Reno; half brother, Gilbert Curtis Sr. of Clinton; half sister, Laura Morin of Martha; and six grandchildren, Alex Curtis, David Curtis, Viola Curtis, Anna Curtis, Honovi Curtis and Avril Blackbear.
