Passed away at Jefferson Manor Nursing Home after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Her parents were Anthony Alfred and Stephanie LeBlanc Chaney. Preceeded in death were husband Gilbert E. Whitney, Jr., son Gilbert E. Whitney III two grandchildren and six siblings. She was retired and employed by Service Feed Co. for many years. Survived by daughters Marlene A. Greer and husband Richard of Rockwall, Tx., Susan M. Gill and husband Travis of Livingston, La., four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. No service was held. Interment was in Azalea Rest Cemetery, Zachary. Arrangements by Charlet Funeral Home, Inc., Zachary.
