He was born in Oklahoma City, the son of James Harrison and Stella (McFarland) Dozier. He had lived in this area since 1940 and married Geraldine Yandell on Nov. 22, 1952, at Arpelar. He was a carpenter and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was of the Nazarene faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, James, Junior, Pick and Harold Dozier; sister, Gladys Castleberry; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Leslie and Lela Yandell; two brothers-in-law, Ben Castleberry and Henrey Stowers; two grandsons, Kenneth Shannon and baby Dozier, and great-grandchild, baby Dozier.
