Professional baseball player. Earned Rookie-of-the-Year honors for the American League in 1965 as a member of the Baltimore Orioles. Blefary was a member of the World Champion Oriole team of 1966. His ashes were scattered by his wife at the site of home plate of Baltimore's Memorial Stadium, which was being demolished at the time of Blefary's death.
