Born in Ogden, Utah. Died in tragic car accident just west of Yellowstone National Park. Son of Clifton Bryner and Myrette Eccles Thomas. Married Michele West August 18, 1979 in the Salt Lake City, Utah LDS Temple.

Grew up in the Ensign Downs of Salt Lake City. Attended schools in Salt Lake. Graduated from West High School in 1974. Attended Trade Tech in Salt Lake. Served a South Dakota Rapid City Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving with the Sioux Indian Nation. Finish school at Utah Valley Trade Tech in Provo. Graduated with an associate degree in cabinet making. Achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Served as bishop of a singles LDS ward bishop. Employed at Albertsons Properties Mill for 24 years. Loved building things; renovating two bedrooms in his home. Family will miss his humor, love knowledge, strength, friendship, companionship and testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Family includes wife Michele, children: Jenni, Michael, Janelle, and Matthew, mother Myrelle Thomas, siblings: Rich Thomas (Anita), Randy Thomas (Victoria), Bill Thomas (Jan), Ann Thomas, and Susan Thomas. Predeceased by father, Clifton B. Thomas.
