Michaela (Maggie) Morano was born in Italy in May 1870, the daughter of Giuseppe and Anna (Bonis) Morano. Michaela immigrated to the U.S. in 1887 with her parents, her sister Giovanina (Jennie/Jane), and one other sibling (still researching).
In 1888 Michaela married Charles Angelo DePrisco. They had eight children together, only five of whom lived to adulthood.
Angelo died in 1905, and Margaret then married Michael Uzzo, a widower.
Michael was also an Italian immigrant and worked as a milkman/ice cream vendor in the city of Wilmington.
Maggie and Michael had three children together, however only one lived to adulthood.
Michael died on 23 Dec 1944, and Margaret on January 14, 1946. Both are buried in Cathedral cemetery, Wilmington, Delaware.
