ROSARY RITES TONIGHT
FOR MRS. LULA ANTHONY

Webb City, Mo., Nov. 20.—Rosary services for Mrs. Lula Jahn (sic) [Jane] Anthony, 211 South Webb street, who died at 6 o'clock this morning at the home of a son (sic) [brother], O. O. Stone, at Galena, will be recited at 7:45 o’clock Tuesday night at the chapel of the Johnston-Arnce-Simpson mortuary.

Funeral services will be held 9 o’clock Wednesday morning at the Sacred Heart Catholic church, with the Rev. Father L. E. Bray officiating. Burial will be in Galena cemetery.

Mrs. Anthony was a member the Royal Neighbors lodge, the Catholic church and had been a resident of Webb City 35 years. Besides the son (sic) [brother], she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Floyd Qualls, Galena, and a granddaughter, Mrs. Myra Jane Fox of St. Louis.

Biographical Notes:

Her siblings were older brother, Lewis Frederic, then Lucy/Lula [Anthony], Laura [Vertrees], Jessie Alice [Jacobs], Adrian, Retta Dimple and Oliver Otis.

According to the 1880 census, the children were all born in Missouri, except for the latter two. In 1870 they lived in Granby, Newton County, Missouri, and by 1880 were in Lowell Township of Cherokee County, Kansas. Dimple and Oliver were born after the 1880 census.

The “son” at whose home she died may have actually been her brother, Oliver Otis Stone.
