President of the Baldwin Piano Company, Union Civil War Veteran. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, he served with the 4th Ohio Volunteer Cavalry in Company A as a Private during the Civil War. After the war, he became a bookkeeper at the Baldwin Piano Company in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1866. In 1873, he became partners with Dwight H. Baldwin. After Baldwin's death, Wulsin became the company's president. He died in Paris, France in 1912 when he was 67 years old. Repatriated to the United States, he was buried at Greene Farm (Green-Woelker Cemetery) near East Greenwich, Rhode Island. Two of his brothers also served in the Civil War. Drausin Wulsin served with the 137th Ohio National Guard Infantry. Eugene Wulsin served with Lucien in the 4th Ohio Volunteer Cavalry and died as a prisoner of war at Andersonville in 1864. A cenotaph in his memory is inscribed on the back of the Wulsin family monument at Spring Grove Cemetery.
