Clarence Lee Akin, 84, died Monday at Drumright Hospital.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Thursday, Smith Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Kellyville Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
He was born Jan 3, 1909, near Mountain Home, Ark. Mr. Akin was a retired farmer and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Freda, and two infant sons.
Survivors include his son, Delbert, of Bakersfield, Calif..; and daughter Barbara Hays of Norman; brothers, Clifford Akin of Sapulpa, Marion Akin of Kiefer and Henry Akin of Tulsa; sister, Barbara Stafford of Los Angeles, Calif.; 5 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
