Kathleen Holly Ellis

Mrs. Kathleen Holly Ellis, 77, of Sidon died Sunday, June 14, 1998 of heart and kidney failure at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.

Mrs. Ellis was born in Carroll County and was a former resident of Duck Hill. She was a member of Sidon Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and her hobby was quilt making. She was preceded in death by two sons, Barry Lynn Ellis, and Lee R. Prince and one daughter, Mrs. Linda Ann Laugherty. She is the widow of the late Mr. Linder Prince and Mr. Charlie Ellis.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 16 at Williams & Lord Chapel in Greenwood with Rev. Alex Moore officiating and Rev. Dan Turner assisting. Burial was in Harmony Cemetery in Carroll County.

Mrs. Ellis is survived by three sons, Wallace Prince, Sr. of Brandon, Russell Ellis of Kosciusko, and Linder Charles Prince of Vicksburg; two sisters, Ms. Anne Miller and Ms. Mary Carroll, both of Cruger; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Williams & Lord Funeral Home of Greenwood had charge of arrangements.
