Thelma Andrew Mahoney, 100
Thelma Andrew Mahoney, 100, Bedford, died Sunday, April 19, 2009, at Signature
Health Care of Trimble County in Bedford.
Services are 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, April 22, at Ransdell Funeral Home, Bedford.
Burial will be in Bedford Cemetery. Visitation starts at 9 a.m. until time of
service.
Mrs. Mahoney was born Oct. 30, 1908, in Trimble County to the late Fred and Kellie
O'Nan Leach.
She enjoyed crocheting and was a member of Milton Baptist Church. She also attended
the church meetings at Churchwood, and had only missed two meetings in seven years.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary E. Taylor of Milton; a sister, Norma Simmons,
Bedford; six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband of 52
years, Deward Andrew; her second husband of 14 years, Clarence Mahoney; a daughter,
Ella Mae Andrew; and a son, Freddy Andrew.
