Oakley-Mrs. Elbert Eads, long a resident of near Macon, died at 9 p.m. Friday in her home. She had been ill for several days.
Mrs Eads leaves her husband; six children, Mrs. Jesse Hite of Casner, Mrs. Elbert McVitty of Oakley, Dewey Eads of Bement, John Eads of Casner, Mrs. Elvin Clarkson of Oakley and Mrs. Ira Bowers of Mt. Zion; a brother, Rufus Boyd of Forsyth and two sisters, Mrs. Rebeca Hite of Fordtown, Tenn. and Mrs. Mollie Eads of Kingsport, Tenn.
Mrs. Eads was born May 23, 1871, in Rock Springs, Tenn. and married Elbert Eads Dec. 21, 1890 in Tennessee. The family moved to Illinois in 1894 near Macon.
