Sarah Louise Adams, daughter of the late Francis and Jessie Birdsall Ginter, was born in Pennsylvania on May 10, 1931, and died at her home in Woodson Terrace on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007, at the age of 76. Mrs. Adams had lived in the St. Louis community the past three years. She had been a resident of Dexter from 1972-2004. She was a former waitress at the Airways Cafe in Dexter. She attended the Calvary Baptist Church. On July 6, 1951, she was married to Ronald G. Adams in St. Louis, and he preceded her in death on 12/26/1999. Surviving are three children; two sons, Dennis Adams of Cahokia, Ill., and Robert Adams of St. Louis; one daughter, Janet Carrillo of St. Louis; and eight grandchildren. Visitation will be at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter after 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007, in Dexter Cemetery. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
