Graveside services were held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Delhi Cemetery for Arbie Dean (Boy) Pendleton, who died at 2:25 p.m. April 11 in Gonzales. The Rev. Happy Jack officiated at the service.

Mr. Pendleton, a member of the Baptist faith, was born in Delhi on June 25, 1939. His parents were Tyre and Myrtle Popps Pendleton, natives of Caldwell County. An auto mechanic, he lived on Route 4.

Surviving him are three daughters, Mrs. Betty Lou Jones of Gonzales; Miss Joanna Pendleton, Miss Bobbie Joe Pendleton, both of Ganada;; one son; Earl Fox Pendleton of Ganada; one grandchild; four sisters, Mrs. Gladys Lou Moore and Mrs. Artie Rae Daniels, both of Luling, Mrs. Ruth Wiley of Gonzales, Mrs. Jessie Wofford of Danbury; and two brothers, Roy Hill Pendleton of Rosharon and Damon Clay Pendleton of Blessing.
