JOANNA PIERCE Funeral services for Mrs. Joanna Pierce, 71, of the Love Joy community of Overton County, were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2006, from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home in Monterey with Rev. Ronnie Pierce, Rev. Kathryn Miller, and Rev. Justin Looper officiating. Burial was in Wilson Cemetery in Overton County. Mrs. Pierce died Saturday, March 11 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a retired factory worker, a homemaker, and a member of Monterey Worship Center. Born January 21, 1935, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Clinton and Katherine (Murphy) Bilbrey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Pierce on June 8, 1984; 2 brothers, J.C. Bilbrey and J.B. Bilbrey; and a sister, Neoma Guffey. Survivors include 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Doyle and Reba Pierce of Mineral Springs and Rev. Ronnie Pierce of Love Joy; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Bob Selby of Monterey, Linda and Willard Cain of Love Joy, and Debra and Anthony Tollett of Crossville; 4 brothers, M.J. Bilbrey and Fonzo Bilbrey, both of Obey City, and J.D. Bilbrey and Lonzo Bilbrey, both of Love Joy; a sister, Betty Padgett of Love Joy; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Special care provided by Goff Funeral Home
