Paul R. Beebe, 86, of Peoria died at 10:50 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 18, 1998, at his home.
Born May 28, 1911, he married Laura Ohm on Oct. 1, 1936, in Sparland. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Rosemary Koehler of Dunlap and Carol Baumgartner of Torrance, Calif.; one sister, Marie Gither of Granbury, Texas; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. One son, Howard Bachman, one sister and one grandson preceded him in death.
He was an iron worker for several years and also owned many service stations.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge 15, AF&AM, and Mohammed Temple, Shrine. He was a retired member of the Peoria County Sheriff's Posse and a member of Howett Street Christian Church.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. The Rev. Mark Henninger will officiate. Visitation will be one hour earlier at the chapel. Burial will be in Mount Hawley Cemetery.
