Florence was my great-grandmother. She was the daughter of George W.and Elizabeth Mariner, older sister to James C. (b. 1891-d.?) and Marie M. (b. 1896-d.?). Her only marriage, to Charles N. Egge, ended in divorce on June 6, 1930. They had one surviving daughter, Margaret Marie Egge Thompson, my maternal grandmother. Florence was living with her daughter and son-in-law at the time of her death. Her body was returned to Minnesota for burial but not laid to rest until April, when the ground had thawed enough to dig her grave.

Many thanks to Eileen for sponsoring my great-grandmother's memorial. You are an angel!
