Obituary - Mrs. Finley Colvin - A former Dover resident, Mrs Rachel A. Colvin, 86, died Wednesday at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. James Smith in Wilmot after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Colvin made her home with her daughter since leaving Dover some 24 years ago. She was born in Guernsey Co. Her husband, Finley Colvin, died in 1941.
Survivors include her daughter; two sons, Ralph of Canton, and Francis of Elmhurst, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. John Colvin of Columbus and Mrs. John Needs of Dover; four brothers, Harvey and Thomas Sigman of Cambridge, Charles Sigman of Dover and Ralph Sigman of Enola, Pa.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. (fast time) Saturday from the DesVoignes Funeral Home in Mr. Eaton with Charles Rouse officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. (fast time) Friday. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park.
