On the stone is reads: Fannie,wife of W.M.Gaines, Born Feb. 7, 1885, Died Sept. 16, 1910, My own dear wife has gone. This is my grandmother. Fannie Elizabeth (Cole) Gaines was the first wife of Walter Michael Gaines. Walter Michael is buried in Pea Ridge Cemetery in Pea Ridge, Arkansas. They had had two sons. One died at birth and the second was born on January 5, 1908 in Wilson, AR. His name (this is my father)William Gladden Gaines.
