Consuella L. "Connie" Springer-Williams, a cook and a hairstylist, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007, at 12:30 p.m. at her home in Baton Rouge at age 35. She was a native of Port Allen.
Visiting at New Mount Olive Baptist Church, Port Allen until religious service, conducted by the Rev. Alfred Lewis. Interment in Lady of Nights Cemetery in Port Allen. Roscoe Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Survived by her husband, Frank Williams Jr.; mother, Stella and spouse James Murphy Jr.; daughter, Kirsten Springer; three sons, Brandon Springer, Jarod and Miles Williams; three sisters, Nita David, Debra Woods and Shanitra Nelson; and two brothers, Donald and James Nelson.
Preceded in death by her father, Willie Springer Sr.; brother, Willie Springer Jr.; sister, Rita Franklin; maternal grandparents, John and Irene Nelson; and paternal grandfather, George Springer Sr.
