Doris Warren, 78 passed away on April 27, 2007 at her home in Rockdale where she had resided for the past 25 years. Funeral services were on May 1, 2007 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale followed by burial in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale. Rev. Margaret Clemings, Chaplain at Vista Care Hospice conducted the services.
Mrs. Warren was born on September 10, 1928 in Manor to John Henry and Beulah Amy (Hanson) Denson. She was married to Sidney Alton Warren who preceded her in death in 1997. Her son, Alton Warren, Jr., parents and brother, Bruce Perry Denson also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son, Joseph Dale Warren of Rockdale, daughters: Donna Louise Johnson of Georgetown, Caroline Ann Bohn of Arkansas and Cindy Marie Beard of Hockley; step-son, George Lee Warren of Rockdale and sister, Jo Ellen Foster of Austin. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
