James Joseph Magierka, 48, Born on March 23, 1959 in Allegan, Michigan. Sent to heaven on September 23, 2007. Survived by his wife of five years Erika. His daughter Angela & grandson Brandon Magierka of Phoenix, AZ. Son Thomas of North Carolina. Parents Stephen & Marion, Gobels, MI. Brothers Thomas, wife Arlene of MI. Stephen, wife Pamela of MI. James also had a whole new extended family; daughter Jacqualine, husband Jamie with baby Ashley McGann of Tolleson, AZ. Leena Mathews with Trevor, Marisa & Alicia of Phoenix. Kimberly, husband Al, and Brandi, Nicholas, Christopher Vachon of LasVegas. With numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. James is preceded in death by his son James Joseph Jr and of grandparents Lorhrbergs & Magierka. To all who knew Jim the words- "Can't Do" and "No" were forbidden he "Could Do" and "Did". His heart had no end. His death was a heroic act to everyone on Highway 87-may God rest his soul. Memorial Fund-Wells Fargo Bank in the name of George Racz in memory of James Magierka. Funeral services Wednesday October 3 at 3:00PM. Heritage Funeral Chapel 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd, Peoria. In honor of his father and brother, war veterans, a gathering after the memorial will be at VFW Hall 7618 N. 63rd Ave. Glendale.
